  1. In order to manage transaction risk, the Bank sets daily and monthly transaction limits that can be carried out by the holder, and at the Bank's discretion, the limits can be changed. Changes to such limits will be conveyed through information media commonly used by the Bank.
  2. The limit and transaction fee for incoming money on unregistered and registered e-cashPanin accounts is IDR20,000,000 (twenty million rupiah) a month.
  3. The e-cashPanin holder hereby authorizes the Bank to charge the e-cashPanin account with applicable fees at the Bank, including those charged by third parties in relation to transactions conducted by the Bank for the benefit of the e-cashPanin holder.
  4. Holders are obliged to pay any fees that may arise from e-cashPanin services, namely the replacement of damaged or lost e-cashPanin media.

General Terms

  1. The e-cashPanin application is an application that can be accessed through a smartphone or other means that will be described later by the Bank as the medium of e-cashPanin registration and usage.
  2. The Bank is PT Bank Panin (Persero) Tbk. domiciled and headquartered in Jakarta.
  3. Branches are all branch offices of the Bank operating in the territory of Indonesia.
  4. Registration is the initial access of e-cashPanin service by mobile phone users via USSD or e-cashPanin application with mobile phone number as account number.
  5. e-Banking is a service that enables the Bank's customers to obtain information, communicate, and conduct banking transactions through electronic media provided by the Bank including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, ATM, EDC and Call Center.
  6. Mobile phone is a mobile communication device used by the Holder to access the e-cashPanin account, including the mobile service operator network used by the Holder.
  7. Recharge is an e-cashPanin balance top-up service that can be done via e-Banking, transfers from other banks or other means that will be determined by the Bank at a later date with the source of funds coming from a checking/savings account.
  8. Secret Word is a word known only to the holder, created during e-cashPanin registration, which is used to reset the PIN.
  9. e-cashPanin is a server-based electronic money that utilizes USSD technology and mobile applications to conduct banking transactions.
  10. Mobile Network Operator is a wireless communications service provider that owns or controls all the elements necessary to sell and deliver services to mobile phone users.
  11. Current/Savings Customers are all Bank customers who have current and/or savings products in Rupiah.
  12. OTP (One Time Password) is a dynamic password sent to the e-cashPanin holder's mobile phone number.
  13. Payment is a bill payment transaction service that is debited directly from the customer's e-cashPanin account balance.
  14. Purchase is a purchase transaction service through e-cashPanin that is debited directly from the customer's e-cashPanin account balance.
  15. Unregistered e-cashPanin holders are e-cashPanin holders who are registered but whose identity data is not recorded with a maximum balance of Rp2,000,000 (two million rupiah), where the holder can make payments and purchases.
  16. Registered e-cashPanin holders are e-cashPanin holders who are registered and have their identity data recorded with a maximum balance of Rp10,000,000,- (ten million rupiah), where the holder can make payments, purchases, transfers and cash withdrawals.
  17. PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a personal identification number created at the beginning of e-cashPanin registration, which is confidential and only known by the Holder and must be entered by the e-cashPanin Holder on the cellphone when using the service.
  18. An e-cashPanin account is an e-cashPanin holder's account in the form of the holder's mobile phone number and is denominated in Rupiah.
  19. SIM Card is a telecommunication provider's customer identity that is used with cellular equipment (mobile phones).
  20. Cash Withdrawal is a cardless cash withdrawal service by e-cashPanin holders through Panin ATMs.
  21. Transfer is a balance transfer service between e-cashPanin as well as to checking/savings accounts and to other mobile phone numbers.
  22. Service Upgrade is a change in e-cashPanin holder status from unregistered to registered.

e-cashPanin Services

  1. The application process to become a e-cashPanin Holder is done by registering through the prospective Holder's cellphone, where the cellphone number becomes the e-cashPanin account number, provided that each cellphone number can only be used for one e-cashPanin account.
  2. The e-cashPanin service consists of registration and service upgrades, cash transactions in the form of deposits and/or top-ups and cash withdrawals, requests for balance information and transaction mutations, bill payments, money transfers, and other transactions provided by the Bank.
  3. Transactions using e-cashPanin can only be done as long as the e-cashPanin balance is sufficient.
  4. The electronic money balance stored in e-cashPanin is not a deposit balance so it will not be subject to interest and is not categorized as funds guaranteed by the Deposit Insurance Corporation.
  5. Holder's transactions are stored electronically on the Bank's server. Holders can view e-cashPanin account balances and mutations via mobile phones. However, when there is a difference between the balance and/or mutation data displayed on the cellphone, the data at the Bank shall be used as a guideline and has binding force.
  6. The Bank reserves the right to make changes at any time to the details of features, benefits, fees and other matters related to e-cashPanin, as well as e-cashPanin Terms and Conditions which will be notified through information/announcement media commonly used by the Bank for this purpose, such as through announcements at the Bank's office or other media that are easily accessible to holders such as electronic media.
  7. The e-cashPanin account balance and/or mutation is recorded in the Bank's special system intended for the management of electronic money from third party fund accounts in general and is not included in the Deposit Insurance program based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 of 2004, concerning the Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Account Opening

  1. Opening an e-cashPanin account can be done through registration on the prospective Holder's mobile phone.
  2. Holders who have registered via mobile phone can upgrade services to become e-CashPanin Registered Holders via mobile phone or by coming to the nearest Bank branch by filling out and signing the application form and showing the original proof of valid and legal identity (KTP, Passport, SIM/Others). Holders who have upgraded their services can obtain all banking services and transactions described in the e-cashPanin service.
  3. Holders can access e-cashPanin through an application that has been developed by the Bank with a registered mobile SIM card number.
  4. Prospective holders should have read and fulfill the terms and conditions of e-cashPanin and put a mark in the column provided.
  5. PaninBank reserves the right at its sole discretion for any reason, to cancel and/or reject the service upgrade process from unregistered to registered.

Blocking, Unblocking, Re-issue and Closing of e-cashPanin

  1. For the benefit of e-cashPanin holders, the Bank at its own discretion has the right to block e-cashPanin accounts if the Holder entered a wrong PIN 3 (three) times when accessing / making transactions, or because of other matters which, according to the Bank's consideration, can cause harm to e-cashPanin holders.
  2. Upon the order of the authorized agency official, the Bank may block the ecashPanin account until there are further instructions from the authorized agency official to reopen the e-cashPanin account.
  3. The Bank can block e-cashPanin accounts for reasons including but not limited to: accommodating and/or committing crimes, and/or for activities that can harm the public or parties and/or the Bank. The criterion of such reasons is based on the considerations solely determined by the Bank.
  4. At the request of the e-cashPanin holder, among others, due to the loss of the mobile phone or SIM card, the e-cashPanin holder may request the Bank to block the e-cashPanin account through CallPanin 1500678.
  5. Holders of e-cashPanin can unblock their account through CallPanin 1500678 can be done if the mobile number has been reactivated by the holder. Unblocking can only be done by the holder after verifying the data in the e-cashPanin application in accordance with the data stored in the bank system.
  6. Holders of e-cashPanin can apply for re-issue of e-cashPanin account PIN via CallPanin 1500678 and are then required to make changes to the PIN immediately after the new PIN is received via a short message sent to the holder's mobile phone number.
  7. This block, unblock and PIN re-issue request service is only provided to unregistered and registered e-cashPanin holders.
  8. The e-cashPanin holder must ensure that the remaining balance in e-cashPanin is IDR0,- for each e-cashPanin account that is closed.
  9. If after consideration of the e-cashPanin holder's obligation to the Bank there is still an obligation of the e-cashPanin holder, the e-cashPanin holder is obliged to settle the obligation.
  10. The e-cashPanin holder releases PaninBank from all claims in any form from any third party in connection with the service upgrade process, blocking, re-issue and closing of e-cashPanin.

Responsibilities of e-cashPanin Holders

  1. Holders are responsible for the security of SIM cards and mobile phones used as a medium to access their e-cashPanin by conducting adequate maintenance and storage to prevent process failures due to malfunction of SIM cards and mobile phones used by holders, theft, or misuse and/or other crimes by irresponsible third parties.
  2. Holders are responsible for treating personal data confidentially, including but not limited to user codes, secret codes, PINs, and others.
  3. The holder is responsible for changing the PIN periodically to maintain the security of his/her e-cashPanin account.
  4. The Holder is responsible for every transaction made, including but not limited to errors in selecting the transaction menu, errors in entering the payment destination number, errors in entering the account number, and errors in entering the nominal. For this reason, the Holder must follow every instruction in making transactions, and the loss/reduction of e-cashPanin balance for erroneous transactions is borne by the Holder.
  5. With due observance of all the foregoing provisions, the holder is hereby fully responsible for losses and claims arising from misuse and/or violation and/or crime of e-cashPanin including but not limited to losses arising due to and/or errors, acts of imprudence or carelessness and misuse of security codes by the holder and the Bank is released from all losses and claims arising from the holder and any third party.

Applicable Law

  1. These terms and conditions shall be construed according to and subject to the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
  2. These terms and conditions are made and implemented based on the provisions of laws and regulations applicable in the Republic of Indonesia.
  3. Any dispute or difference of opinion that cannot be resolved either by deliberation and/or mediation, will be resolved through Legal Domicile at the Central Jakarta District Court Office, but without prejudice to BANK's right to prosecute e-cash holders in any courts within the territory of the Republic of Indonesia deemed necessary by BANK in accordance with applicable laws.
  1. The Holder agrees that upon the Bank's request, they will provide and/or confirm the information required by the Bank in relation to the Holder's data, accounts, and financial data.
  2. The inability to use e-cashPanin to conduct transactions if the mobile phone number is blocked and/or deactivated by the mobile phone provider or there is a communication interruption from the mobile phone provider is the sole responsibility of the holder. The Holder releases the Bank from all claims and losses that may arise in the future.
  3. The Bank may amend the current e-cashPanin Terms and Conditions by notification to the Holder or through the Bank's customary information/announcement media.
  4. For matters that are not specifically regulated in these Terms and Conditions, the Holder declares that it is subject to all provisions and operational procedures that generally apply to the Bank related to the implementation of transactions and other banking services such as but not limited to verification procedures both signature verification and electronic verification.
  5. By agreeing to these e-cashPanin Terms and Conditions, the holder binds and declares that the Bank has provided sufficient explanation regarding the characteristics of e-cashPanin products to be utilized by the holder and the holder has understood and comprehended all the consequences of utilizing ecashPanin products, including the benefits, risks and costs attached to ecashPanin products.
  6. In the event of an emergency event (force majeure), including but not limited to labor strikes, fires, mass riots, sabotage, natural disasters such as earthquakes, and floods or other matters beyond the power of the parties, then no party can be required to provide compensation for all losses incurred as a result of the force majeure event.
  7. Customer agrees that PaninBank has the right to store and use data attached to or transmitted by the cell phone used by the Customer to download the Panin ecash application, among others, for the convenience and security of the Customer in transactions.
  8. The Customer hereby agrees that PaninBank has the right to inform the name, ecashPanin number, and/or Transaction data of the Customer to other parties related to the Transaction conducted by the Customer.

Customer Data Confidentiality Policy

  1. The Bank is obliged to maintain and keep confidential everything related to information about the Depositing Customer and the Customer's Deposit.
  2. The Bank is prohibited in any way, from providing data and/or personal information about the Depositing Customer and his/her deposits to third parties.
  3. The prohibition as referred to in number 2 shall be excluded if: 
    1. The customer provides written consent; and/or
    2. There is a permit from the Financial Services Authority
    3. Required by laws and regulations

Complaints and Reports

  1. Holders Questions and complaints related to e-cashPanin services can be submitted verbally through CallPanin 1500678 or in writing through the Bank's branches by including the documents required by the Bank.
  2. Questions and complaints that are submitted verbally but cannot be resolved by the Bank within a maximum of 2 working days should be re-reported in written form.
  3. The Bank will verify e-cashPanin Holder data based on the data stored in the Bank's system. The Bank has the right to refuse to process questions and complaints submitted by Holders related to e-cashPanin services if the verified Holder data does not match the Holder data stored in the Bank's system.
  4. The Bank will conduct an examination/investigation of the Holder's complaint and provide an answer to the Holder in accordance with the policies and procedures applicable in the Bank after the Bank receives a complete complaint/complaint.
