Now, transactions at online merchants with Verified by Visa logo are secured with the 3D Secured OTP.
When conducting online transactions, you should have received an SMS containing an OTP (One-time password) code with a 6-digit number that should be kept private.
But do you know what OTP is?
One Time Password or OTP is a one-time verification code in the form of 6-digit numbers sent via SMS to your cell phone number. The code will expire in 5 minutes and can only be used once to verify your online transactions.
To make your online shopping easier and safer, make sure you follow these steps:
- To receive the OTP code, make sure your mobile number is active and correctly registered in the PaninBank system. Please update your data and report immediately via 24-hour CallPanin at 1500678 if you changed your mobile number.
- Make sure you input the OTP code correctly. You are allowed three times to input a valid OTP code when you transact online. If you input invalid OTP 3 times in a row, your Panin Credit Card will be blocked and cannot be used in the next online transaction. Contact 24-hour Call Panin at 1500678 for a request to unblock your Panin Credit Card so that it can be used again.
- When you re-request an OTP code for the same transaction, a new OTP code will be sent, and the new OTP code will be valid. Each OTP code request will invalidate the old OTP, and you can only request 3 new OTPs for each transaction.
- The OTP code should be inputted on the authentication menu within 5 minutes of the transaction. Make sure you have received the OTP code and immediately input it before the maximum time limit expires. Make sure the mobile phone network connection and internet network where you transact are running smoothly and stable. If you exceed this limit, you must repeat the check-out/purchase process from the beginning.
